Vörösmarty Street ends up at the magnificent Andrássy Avenue, which became a part of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Along the boulevard there are several luxury apartments, offices and commercial buildings, upscale boutiques, bars and restaurants, specifically at Liszt Ferenc Square. A big shopping moll, called Westend City Centre is only 10 minutes walking. There are several cultural facilities to go along Andrássy Avenue as like the State Opera House, the House of Terror Museum. Heroes’ Square with the two museums, City Park and Széchenyi Bath are within walking distance too.
Transport:
This flat is in a frequented area between Nyugati railway station and Oktogon. At Nyugati Square Metro 3 (blue line) and tram 4, 6 are easily reachable. At the end of Vörösmarty Street there is Podmaniczky Street where 3 trolley-buses run as like number 72, 73 and 76. At Vörömarty station you can find the Metro 1 line (yellow line) that goes to Heroes’ Square directly. Bus nr.105 goes on Andrássy Avenue and leads you to Buda side or upper North Pest. Nyugati Square is the busiest junction for night buses. Bus 906 is the night version of tram 6 – goes on the same way – bus 914 is the night version of tram 14 yet runs a longer way from South Pest, bus 950 starts almost from the east suburb or bus 931 coming from North Buda.
